Another lacklustre performance from The Whites...

Leeds United just don’t seem to have it in them anymore, as they were comfortably beaten by Bournemouth on the south coast.

The home side took the lead after 20 minutes when Jefferson Lerma got on the end of Billing’s blocked shot, placing the ball perfectly into the top right corner.

Lerma grabbed his second just five minutes later when Meslier’s poor attempt to clear a corner fell straight to the Colombian at close range, who smashed the ball into the roof of the net.

The return of Willy Gnonto still ended up making an impact though, as his beautifully drilled cross from the left found Patrick Bamford in the six-yard box, who made no mistake this time.

But Leeds’ endeavour wasn’t enough, as Solanke scored the Cherries’ third when picking up Koch’s attempt at stopping the cross from the right, prodding the ball across goal and into the bottom left corner.

The fourth came in stoppage time, as Semenyo was played through on goal and slipped the ball under Meslier and into the net for his first Premier League goal... typical.

The only saving grace? It’s a bank holiday weekend.
