Leeds United were unable to hold their fierce rivals, Manchester United to another stalemate, succumbing to the away side’s quality in the last 10 minutes.
The Whites started fairly brightly and should’ve been ahead after four minutes when Wober’s ball in was helped on by Bamford at the front post, breaking for Summerville in the middle who couldn’t keep his finishing touch below the crossbar at close range.

The Reds will have felt the same going into half-time as Wober’s pass out from the back hit straight off an opponent and put Fernandes clean through on goal, with only Meslier’s excellent reflexes denying him of the opener.
Leeds were probably the better side in the second half but it was the visitors who applied the finishing touch in the final ten minutes, as Marcus Rashford scored yet another header, this time latching onto Luke Shaw’s cross from the far side.
Just minutes later, Garnacho sealed the victory for Manchester United whose pace allowed him to leave Robin Koch in the dust and fire the ball into the net, courtesy of the near post.
Leeds had a lot of that game and will feel short-changed to come out of the week with one point. But Man Utd had the moments of quality when it mattered. Leeds finish the weekend in 17th position, one point above the bottom three. Everton away - huge. #lufc
