Leeds United’s young goalkeeper, Illan Meslier is subject to interest from Barcelona, according to FootMercato.
The Catalan giants are reportedly searching for a new long-term goalkeeping option beyond injury-ridden Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Barca have set their sights on Meslier and Alban Lafont (Nates) as options to carry the torch as their long-term goalkeeper.
The French outlet suggests £20 million to be the price on Meslier’s services, while Lafont would be less than £10m.
It was inevitable that Meslier was going to attract interest from elite clubs. He's definitely up there with Raphinha and Phillips in terms of how difficult it'd be to properly replace them. What are our chances of keeping him (assuming rumours are accurate)? #lufc https://t.co/UD8coi04sZ

The 21-year-old has made 57 Premier League appearances to date, keeping 14 clean-sheets. He is also the first goalkeeper in Premier League history to keep eight Premier league clean-sheets in a single season before turning 21 years old.
Not only that, but the youngster has shown incredible grace and calmness on the ball under pressure, and has shown great mental strength to bounce back from his mistakes so far. Despite conceding seven goals against Manchester City this season, and six at Old Trafford last season, Meslier is still regarded as one of Europe’s best young goalkeeping talents.
