Leeds United were beaten by Real Betis in a fixture filled with goals, mistakes and end-to-end action at Loughborough University.
The Whites opened the scoring early on after some excellent link-up play on the left between Dallas, Harrison and Firpo. Junior’s ball in met Bamford at the front post whose gliding header sailed into the far corner of the net.
That build-up! That finish!

Betis responded just minutes later when a poor pass from Dallas put Aitor one-on-one with Diego Llorente. Aitor nipped an excellent finish over the sliding challenge of Llorente and in off the far post to give the away side an equaliser.
They then took the lead on 23 minutes when Moreno beat Raphinha on the left before crossing in for Aitor who teed the ball up for Iglesias, who struck home from 12 yards.
Real Betis then snatched a third from nothing as a tight-angled cross from the right side slipped through the gloves of Meslier and ended up in the back of the net.
But Leeds responded quickly themselves as Mateusz Klich latched on to a poor back pass before slotting the ball into the bottom-left corner to keep The Whites in the game.

There were a couple of promising opportunities for an equaliser, but the one big chance never came in this one, as the game ended 2-3.
