AC Milan, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund have all recently been linked with the Georgia international, who is valued at around £13 million by Transfermarkt.
Kvaratskhelia currently plies his trade with Rubin Kazan, for whom he has scored seven goals and assisted a further 13 across 51 matches since joining in 2019.
After coming through the academy at Georgian outfit Dinamo Tbilisi, he spent a season with FC Rustavi before joining Lokomotiv Moscow on loan.
His contract at Rubin Kazan runs until 2024, subsequently allowing his employers to command a hefty fee from potential suitors.

The either-footed attacker, who has scored three goals in eight caps for Georgia, primarily plays on the left wing, but is capable of playing across attacking midfield.
Football Talent Scout’s report on the then-17-year-old in 2018 highlights his pace and acceleration, ball control, dribbling and technique.
Kakha Kaladze-AC Milan and Georgian Football Legend about Khvicha Kvaratskhelia:
— Lasha Kokiashvili (@LashaKokiashvil) April 23, 2021
“I personally had a conversation with Paolo Maldini as well as Gennaro Gattuso about Kvicha. Napoli took great interest in buying him. They are my friends and they understood my opinion on Kvvicha.” pic.twitter.com/wqzRXFxE0t
It also describes Kvaratskhelia as an agile, creative roaming attacker who poses a major threat on the counter and is armed with a powerful shot.
Ste Hoare’s exclusive report points out that there is no indication of a transfer deal being completed, and that the youngster would be unlikely to receive the work permit he would need to join Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Leeds may only have an outside chance of signing Kvaratskhelia, but fans are advised to begin creating chants now so they can have them ready for his debut later in the year - good luck with that one!
