One of Leeds United’s top-targets for the summer transfer window is a new option at left-back, with Romain Perraud reportedly one of the names on Orta’s list of targets.

Now, The Whites have a couple more players to join Perraud on the shortlist for a new Leeds left-back. Alex Moreno and Miguel Gutierrez both ply their trade in La Liga with Real Betis and Real Madrid respectively and are now on Victor Orta’s radar according to TeamTalk.

Moreno has made 20 appearances in La Liga this season, assisting two goals from left-back as well as being a useful option at left-wing. Betis are now chasing European football, sitting 6th in La Liga on goal-difference while being a long way off the top-four.

Real Madrid youngster Miguel Gutierrez has also been named by TeamTalk as a possible transfer, with Orta reportedly being offered the services of the 19-year-old defender. Gutierrez is yet to make a senior appearance in his career and in unlikely to be able to compete with Ferland Mendy and David Alaba who joins Los Blancos in the summer.

From the limited footage of the youngster online, he likes to venture forward and can deliver the ball well. For Real Madrid Castilla (B team), Gutierrez has one goal from 13 appearances while also having six goals and one assist in 16 appearances in The UEFA Youth League.

It’s not just Leeds who have their eye on Gutierrez, with Spurs reportedly having a bid turned down by Real Madrid. It is unknown who exactly offered the youngster to Leeds, but it was likely the agent rather than the club who are unsure whether they will sell this summer.

Another two targets to be considered for this summer, and it’ll be interesting to see who arrives at Elland Road this summer.
