Manchester City midfielder Yangel Herrera has been shortlisted by Leeds United, according to an exclusive report from Talking Shutt.
The 23-year-old has been on loan with Granada outfit since the beginning of the 2019/20 season, and has 10 goals from 76 appearances in all competitions across two seasons.
In a very rare exclusive, we can reveal Yangel Herrera as one of the shortlisted players Leeds United are interested in.

Across his career, Herrera has primarily played in holding midfield, but so far this campaign he has made more appearances in central-midfield and attacking-midfield, resulting in an increase in goals.
He has been on Man City’s books since 2017 when he was signed from Atletico Venezuela and immediately loaned out to New York City for two seasons, seeing him score once and assist four times across 38 matches.
A disappointing loan spell with Huesca in 2018/19 was followed by his thus far more fruitful stint with fellow Spanish side Granada.
Herrera made his international debut for Venezuela in 2016, and has gone on to earn 21 caps, scoring two goals.

Southampton and West Ham United were rumoured to be interested in signing the Citizens midfielder, who is valued at £13.5 million by Transfermarkt, just a few days ago.
Herrera started for Granada in their Europa League defeat to Manchester United, and has been particularly impressive during the current campaign.
Covered the Granada, Man Utd game last week and he was their best player on the night. Lively, energetic- fits the Bielsa mould

In November last year, Total Football Analysis noted the Venezuelan’s ability to play effectively in multiple positions, and also praised his movement off the ball and his goal threat from midfield.
He also has a tendency to inhabit the right side of the pitch so Granada can create a numerical superiority against their opponents, something which could see the midfielder fit in well at Elland Road.

Standing at 6ft tall, Herrera also has a notable aerial presence while also being competent in possession, although his passing accuracy is somewhat disappointing. Defensively, he boasts a high recovery rate, and has made just short of two tackles per 90 minutes across the season so far.
Total Football Analysis also highlight his excellent pressing ability, no doubt a key component in Leeds shortlisting the midfielder.
