Wolverhampton Wanderers took another fluky three points from Leeds United in a tight encounter under the lights at Molineux.
Meslier was first to be tested on 12 minutes as he acrobatically saved a shot from distance by Neto. Liam Cooper was on the end of Leeds’ first chance from a free-kick as his header from 10 yards or so was easily saved by the keeper.
Meslier was called into action a couple more times by Nelson Semedo but all-in-all it was a closely contested first-half with few chances for both sides.

Liam Cooper met yet another Raphinha set-piece on 64 minutes and he should’ve scored one of the two chances, but the keeper managed to keep the ball out again.
Wolves then went up the pitch and scored, with Adama Traore’s shot from distance hitting the far post before coming off the back of Meslier between the sticks and crossing the line. Hugely unfortunate for Leeds who did not deserve to be a goal down.
Cooper had yet another good chance go straight at the Wolves keeper from a Rphinha set-piece. Leeds then had the ball in the net as Bamford broke between the Wolves defenders and fired an excellent shot past Patricio but the flag was raised.

Former Wolves man, Helder Costa has a huge chance go begging in the final moments of the game as a long ball was mixed up between the feet of Costa and his marker. It broke for the White jersey, but Costa’s right-footed shot rolled into the arms of the Wolves keeper.
It’s never nice to lose, particularly in such a fashion as this. But Leeds must now dust themselves off and go again as Southampton visit Elland Road next.
