Grot joined Leeds United from NEC in the summer of 2017 on a four-year deal and was quickly involved with the first team. However, he only scored one goal (in a defeat to Sheffield Wednesday) in his 23 appearances and his performances were well below expectations.
Grot managed to get some game time in loan spells back in Dutch football with VVV-Venlo and Vitesse but he has now secured a permanent move away. Hopefully he does well in Germany and is able to kickstart his career.
