Leeds United took all three points back home to Yorkshire after beating Norwich City away from home.
The first chance of the game fell for Dan James on eight minutes as Dallas picked up the second ball and slipped the Welshman through on the left channel. James went wide rounding the keeper before chopping his finish back across toward the near post, only for Hanley to clear it off the line.
It was a somewhat cagey affair in the first half, with Rodrigo and Raschica taking pop-shots from range, with both teams perhaps showing why they’ve struggled in the early stage of the season.
Leeds opened the scoring on 57 minutes as Struijk won the ball and found James who turned well and lofted a pass to Raphinha on the right. The Brazilian cut inside, beating his man and slipping the ball past three bodies and the keeper to open the scoring.

But Norwich equalised almost instantly, as The Whites were their own worst enemy with Shackleton playing a back-pass to Meslier right on the by-line. His return pass to Shack went straight out of play for a corner. Cross comes in, Omobamidele beats Llorente and rises highest to fire a bullet header off the underside of the bar and into the right corner of the net.
The Whites clambered their way back on top just one minute later as Rodrigo fired a shot from 25 yards underneath the goalkeeper to give Leeds the lead again.

Leeds were almost their worst enemy again though as Harrison’s slack pass back to the defence was intercepted by Pukki who drove toward the box and drew a foul right on the edge of the box, though the resulting free-kick was wasted.
In the end, Leeds managed to hang on for a crucial three points at Carrow Road, but still plenty of work to be done for The Whites, who host Leicester City next Sunday.
