Leeds United are one of several clubs tracking 18-year-old left-back Josh Doig following his breakthrough season at Hibernian, according to a report from Goal.
Doig has made 18 appearances for Hibs this season after displacing the more experienced Lewis Stevenson from the side. Teams such as Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal have all been linked to the young defender, as well as Celtic who are of course linked with any impressive young player in Scotland.
You would expect if he was to join Leeds or Man City then he'd join there under 23 squads. Championship and below you'd expect him to fight for a first team spot. Sunderland heavily linked. #SAFC

Doig has also been linked with moves to England, but lower down the pyramid, with teams like Sunderland apparently taking an interest. The difference being that Doig would like be a u23 signing for a Premier League side, but may be ready to play immediately elsewhere.
The Scotland youth international is said to be very much a “modern” full-back, with a high attacking output. One thing about the move that would be surprising if it was to happen is that Leeds already have two impressive youngsters at left-back in Leif Davis and Niall Huggins, but Leeds have recently been willing to go for youngsters if they see the potential regardless of competition.
I can’t pretend to have seen Josh Doig play so I won’t give an opinion, but if you have one let us know in the comments below or on Twitter @ThruItAllLUFC.
