Florence based newspaper La Nazione is again linking Leeds United, as well as Torino, with a move for Chile international midfielder Erick Pulgar.

Pulgar has been linked with a move to Leeds since the summer, usually on a permanent deal. However, the report says that Leeds could try and negotiate a straight up loan move with Fiorentina for the midfielder, to run until the end of the season.
A straight loan move would be a double edged sword for Leeds if it happens. If he plays well and Leeds want to make the move permanent, that form could increase his fee if Leeds haven’t already arranged a deal. However, it is better than doing a loan with an obligation to buy as we could end up lumbered with a player if it doesn’t work out.
Need back up for Phillips badly, A player that could play both Phillips and klich’s role would be ideal really. I think it is what we need to round off our squad #lufc A Pulgar or de Paul would be perfect

It remains to be seen if this move progresses, but Leeds do need another midfielder and Pulgar could fit the bill. A loan move with a pre-arranged option to buy would probably be the best result for Leeds.
