Ryan Edmondson expected to sign for Northampton Town on loan until the end of the season.

Edmondson was strongly linked with League Two Bradford City, but appears to have got a League One move.

Following his loan spell in Scotland with Aberdeen, Ryan Edmondson is now expected to join League One Northampton Town on loan for the rest of the season.

Edmondson had been expected to join fellow Leeds players Jordan Stevens and Bryce Hosannah at League Two Bradford City, but it looks as if he will join The Cobblers, we expect the deal to be completed this morning (Wednesday 13th January), so it could be announced later the same day.

Edmondson made 16 appearances for Aberdeen, but only made three starts, scoring twice for them. It is hoped that he will be able to get more regular first team football on this loan move. His contract at Leeds United expires in the summer and as a fan I hope the England u19 international can impress and earn a new deal.
