Leeds United are closing in on the signing of 18-year-old Feyenoord winger Crysencio Summerville.

The promising Dutch youngster could become the latest U23s acquisition by next week.

A £1m fee has been agreed with Feyenoord according to The Telegraph’s Mike McGrath, who says the medical can be completed in Holland before the player travels to Elland Road to complete the deal.

The Netherlands U19 international would follow in the footsteps of the likes of Joe Gelhardt, Charlie Allen and Codey Drameh as the U23s continue to strengthen.

Summerville, who has a chequered past with his current club, made 21 appearances in the Eredivisie last season for ADO Den Haag.

Elsewhere, a deal is yet to be made with Udinese regarding the transfer of Rodrigo De Paul, while PSG’s Julian Draxler remains on the club’s list, per Fabrizio Romano (although that seems unlikely).
