Leeds United have had their €35 million bid to Udinese’s Rodrigo De Paul, according to Messagero Veneto via Mondo Udinese.
The club president, Gino Pozzo has been in negotiations with Leeds for more than a week, and has rejected the initial bid as he feels that an Argentina international cannot go for less than €40 million.
A lot of conjecture in the Italian media on Leeds' interest in Rodrigo De Paul.

The latest from Mondo Udinese claims Leeds' opening €35m offer has 'now been rejected' and Andrea Radrizzani has been told he 'cannot cost less' than €40m.
The Whites have reportedly received stern competition from Leicester City in recent days, who are expected to move for David Brooks soon, while Juventus seem to be De Paul’s preferred destination.
The report details that Leicester could make a bid that is “very close” to Pozzo’s demands, while Leeds are seemingly yet to make a second bid. Meanwhile, Leeds have been linked with PSG’s Julian Draxler, who set to leave the European Cup finalists with a year left on his deal.
It remains to be seen if Leeds will up the ante in their pursuit for De Paul’s services, as Juventus’ intentions are as yet unclear, but it’ll be a hefty fee to bring the Argentine to Elland Road.
