Rodrigo De Paul had been suggesting that he wants to join Leeds United via social media for a while. Liking posts about it and things of that nature. I think he is done with the subtlety.

In a twitter exchange with excellent Leeds United fanzine and podcast The Square Ball (they do a subscription service which I would recommend) he outright said “Yes” to the suggestion that he is keen on the move and it is up to Leeds and Udinese to sort out a deal.
Rodrigo de Paul is ready to move to Leeds United... and just confirmed the news. It’s up to the two clubs. Negotiations ongoing but Udinese want €40m. ⚪️ #LUFC https://t.co/wZjhJR4evo

Argentina international De Paul is a signing of a level I didn’t think would be possible as a newly promoted club. Leeds need to get this deal done while it is an option. It is an expensive deal but it is well worth the outlay in my opinion.
There is a long time left in the transfer window so I wouldn’t expect this to suddenly get done in the next two days, but the longer Marcelo Bielsa has to work with him the better, so hopefully it is done as soon as possible.
