Marcelo Bielsa has signed a new contract at Leeds United, keeping him contracted to the Whites for one more season.

The former Chile and Argentina manager officially became manager on 15th June 2018, and had Leeds up towards the top of the Championship throughout his first season, before winning the league by 10 points in his second season. Winning the LMA Manager of the Year award for his work.

Not only have the results been fantastic, Leeds United have played some of the best football many of the fans have seen in their time as fans.

The news has been met with jubilation throughout the Leeds fanbase. Everyone knows that contract negotiations with Bielsa are never quick but the amount of time taken was starting to worry some people.

We now know we are going to see Leeds in the Premier League playing “Bielsaball”, and with that the world feels like a much better place. Although the opening task, tomorrow’s trip to Anfield to face Liverpool, may not be the best example of what we have to look forward to. Then again, it could show just how special he is.

Everyone is delighted, but just how delighted are you? Let us know in the comments below or on Twitter @ThruItAllLUFC.
