Leeds United went out on their first pre-season match before the new season, as they were beaten by Stoke 3-0 away from home.
The Whites fielded a largely second string team, with Bamford, Ayling, Hernandez, Harrison and Costa the players who were part of the main team down the stretch last season. Meanwhile, Casilla started with Casey and Davis ahead of him in the middle, with Strujik ahead of them in holding midfield. Douglas and Shackleton also played as fitness takes the primary function in a pre-season match.

The match ended 3-0 to Stoke, with Ince grabbing a brace while Collins got the opener from a corner kick. The game only lasted 80 minutes with extended highlights due in the next 24 hours.
Most of Leeds’ first team squad, including Rodrigo Moreno and Robin Koch are on international duty, so we’ll hopefully get to see Leeds at their best very soon.
