Leeds United have made it clear that Ben White is top of their list in transfers this season, following on from a brilliant loan spell which had White play every minute in a title winning campaign.
However, Brighton have had different ideas and despite signing several new defenders to their already stacked defence, Brighton have rejected two bids from The Whites.
Sky Sports Transfer Centre have reported that Leeds have had two bids rejected for Ben White worth £18.5 million and £22 million respectively. But another twist to the tale arrived with the news that the 22-year old has also made two rejections of his own, with contract offers failing to impress the young centre-half.

If this is true, it could mean that White is looking to force a move away from Brighton, but it could also mean that he is looking to put pressure on Brighton to offer more money, so it’s difficult to read into.
Should White wish to leave The Seagulls, he can count on guaranteed game time at Elland Road, while also being a hit with the fans for his excellent ability as a defender who can play with the ball at his feet.
It’s been a busy day for Leeds news, as The Whites are set to open talks with Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara.
