Leeds United have reportedly opened talks with Stuggart attacker, Nicolas Gonzalez according to reports from italy (via insideFutbol).
The report claims that despite the interest of Napoli and AC Milan, The Whites hold concrete interest, opening talks with the player’s “entourage”, with the 22-year old interested in a move to Elland Road.
The three-time capped Argentine fired Stuggart to promotion, scoring 14 goals and assisting seven, playing across the front thee in The Bundesliga 2.
If a fee is to be agreed between the two clubs, who seemingly concede that Gonzalez will leave the club, it will be in the region of £20 million.
Leeds’ transfer window is well underway, with Helder Costa and Illian Meslier already in the bag, with the Whites given boosts in the chase of Emi Buendia and Said Benrahma earlier in the week. Whether this one will come to fruition remains to be seen.
