Leeds have already picked up their first-team centre-back target Robin Koch, Bielsa is reported to be opening up to the idea of an additional centre-back in the squad.
Phil Hay of The Athletic reports that Manchester United’s Axel Tuanzebe’s name is one that has been mentioned should The Whites move for another centre-half.
A loan deal makes sense, with only so much money to be spent following the arrivals of Rodrigo Moreno and Robin Koch. Meanwhile, reports from Italy claim that Leeds made a big-money bid for Lazio’s Luiz Felipe, but it’s perhaps unlikely as Leeds are still to bring in a creative midfielder.
Would expect Leeds to keep their powder dry for a little while now. But still want someone who fits the winger/number 10 mould (no second bid for Kent so far). And I wonder if Bielsa will soften on an extra centre-back. Man Utd’s Axel Tuanzebe a name that’s been mentioned. #lufc

Tuanzebe’s name has been mentioned, as the youngster is available for a loan deal in order to gain more experience away from Old Trafford, with Bielsa’s Leeds a very good option for development.
At the age of 22, Tuanzebe has 18 Man United senior appearances to his name in all competitions, including The Europa League, with the bulk of his experience coming for Aston Villa in The Championship.
According to The Premier League website, in Tuanzebe’s 10 appearances he had a 64% tackle success rate while boasting a pass success rate of 89.5%, playing in the centre-back, full-back and holding midfield positions in all competitions. He certainly sounds like a Bielsa-style player.
