Leeds United have sent Radrizzani’s right-hand man Lorenzo Tonetti to Rome following enquiries for several Lazio players, with Luiz Felipe and Jordan Lukaku being made available for offers.

Felipe is the primary name from this story, as the report from Il Messaggero quotes Leeds a £27 million price tag for the 23-year old centre-back, as Lazio look to raise funds to pursue other targets.

Further details on the prospect of signing Jordan Lukaku are unclear at this time, with The Whites prioritising other positions before making a move for a left-back. Lukaku is a player that makes a lot of sense for Leeds, with the Belgian showing versatility as a full-back and a winger.

Leeds are of course looking to sign a new centre-back, and will be looking to do so as soon as possible, with a bid for Freiburg’s Robin Koch expected this week. However, Leeds also want to explore the possibility of a deal for Felipe, with the Brazillian heavily linked with Barcelona and PSG in recent months.

Felipe made 30 appearances last season, 26 of those coming in Serie A, scoring one goal and assisting one from centre-back. The Brazillian boasted a pass completion record of 88.7% in the 19/20 campaign, while winning an average of 0.8 aerial duels per match according to WhoScored.

These are the early stages of development in Leeds’ search for another centre-back, and whether Leeds end up making a move for Luiz Felipe will likely depend on how talks progress for a Robin Koch transfer in the next week or so.
