Leeds United have a busy week on their hands, as reports in Spain claim that Rodrigo is could agree contract terms with The Whites as early as this week.

Super Deportes reports that Leeds began negotiations with Rodrigo’s family agents, with an agreement close as doubts held by the 29-year old “largely cleared.“ Because of this, Rodrigo is in a position to agree terms with Leeds should the right offer be proposed, but there are other clubs interested, with Atletico Madrid also said to be lurking around, and could hijack a deal.

Meanwhile, AS concur as Andrea Radrizzani and Victor Orta have travelled to the city of Turia to negotiate a deal with Valencia chairman, Anil Murthy.

However, the price is not quite right at the moment, with both clubs holding a considerable distance between each other on agreeing a fee. Leeds started the negotiations at €25-30 million, while Valencia were looking for something closer to €60 million. However, it seems that both clubs are prepared to meet in the middle at around €40 million as negotiations progress.

Leeds have plenty of work to do over the coming days and weeks, as The Whites are also in talks to sign Robin Koch from Freiburg, while Leeds are also due to meet the agents of Arthur Cabral in Portugal in the coming days. Plus, we can also expect to see Leeds submit a second bid for Rangers winger, Ryan Kent.
