Leeds United are reportedly going into talks with the agents of Basel striker Arthur Cabral, according to a report from Brazil.
UOL claim that The Whites are set for talks with Cabral representatives having submitted a bid of around £16 million including incentives, but Basel are still holding out an extra few million. In the meantime, Paulo Pitombeira and Luiz Portela are due to arrive in Portugal on Tuesday morning (6:20 am to be precise) in Lisbon to advance talks with Leeds over a potential deal.

Aged 22, he's strong, looks to have very good awareness, can clearly poach goals. 14 goals in 25 games. Just the type for Bielsa moulding#MOT pic.twitter.com/it5dZcVWr8
Something that complicates an agreement is that his former clubs Palmeiras and Ceara are due a combined 30% of the fee received from a transfer for Cabral, which could force Leeds into paying more than they’d like if Cabral is the man they really want.
Elsewhere in the striker search, Leeds United have reportedly entered talks with Valencia for Rodrigo, with a bid of 25 million euro prepared.
