Leeds United’s chase for Ben White has not moved any further forward despite three rejected contract offers for the 22-year old. Now, Phil Hay from The Athletic has reported that The Whites are set to make a move for Freiburg’s Robin Koch.
Hay has reported that Leeds will look to push on in the next 48 hours to make a deal happen for the one-time capped German international. Meanwhile, Leeds CEO Angus Kinnear commented on the situation following The Whites’ kit launch, saying that the club is ready to move on a number of targets they are in advanced talks with.
So it looks like The Whites could be moving quickly for Robin Koch, who has entered the final year of his contract, giving Leeds the chance to pounce on a cut-price deal of around £10 million according to reports. This is a great deal for Leeds considering that Freiburg were demanding £20 million from RB leipzig in January.
they wanted about £20m when Leipzig had a go in January.
