The FA have charged Leeds United over the failing to ensure players conducted themselves in an orderly manner during their promotion celebrations at Pride Park last month.

Players used flares while celebrating winning the Championship, subsequently breaching FA rule E20. The Whites have been given until 3rd September to respond.

The club is not expected to contest the charge, and will likely receive a fine as punishment.

Promotion rivals Brentford and West Brom both slipped up in the days leading up to the 3-1 victory over Derby, meaning Marcelo Bielsa’s side had secured promotion and the Championship title without kicking a ball.
