17-year-old attacking midfielder Stuart McKinstry is expected to extend his deal at Leeds United until the summer of 2023 according to the Daily Record.
After joining from hometown club Motherwell for around £400k, McKinstry impressed in both the u18s and u23s, impressive in the latter age group despite his young age compared to his teammates.

The Scotland youth international drew particular praise for his performances against Watford FC in a 6-0 victory for the u23 side, and for his showing in the 1-0 defeat to Manchester United in the FA Youth Cup last season.

As he is still only 17, I do not expect McKinstry to be one of the youngsters sent out on loan by Marcelo Bielsa this season - but it would be intriguing to see him get some first team football somewhere this season.
