Leeds United are joining the Eberechi Eze sweepstakes along with West Ham United and Crystal Palace. Leeds director of football Victor Orta has named Eze a transfer target. The Queen Park Rangers attacking midfielder is drawing interest after a stellar 2019-20 EFL Championship season scoring 14 goals with eight assists.
Leeds are keen on QPR’s Eberechi Eze, but are unwilling to meet Rangers’ £20million valuation. Crystal Palace have already failed with a £10million offer, while West Ham are also keen on Eze. #lufc

The 22-year old was so impressive that QPR director of football Les Ferdinand praised Eze and expects England manager Gareth Southgate to select Eze for the 2021 European Championship if he continues to excel.
However, this could be a difficult pickup for Leeds since the QPR asking price for Eze is £20 million. Leeds will break their own summer transfer record but they want at least four permanent signings according to the Mirror. With their recent new deals for Jamie Shackleton and Mateusz Bogusz, the possible signings of Juan Foyth and Emiliano Buendia and the recent bids for Ben White with the latest bid (if reports are believed) being rejected at £30 million, Leeds would be cautious to part with over £20m for Eze.

Eze would be a good pickup for Leeds and he would help bolster Leeds’ midfield lineup with Mateusz Klich, Helder Costa, Jack Harrison, and Pablo Hernández.
It all depends on how Leeds would lay out their summer transfer plans to build a strong club heading to the 2020-21 Premier League season.
