Leeds United have confirmed a new sponsorship deal with Clipper Logistics.

Clipper have been a sponsor of Leeds since 2016, and their new deal will see them become the sponsor of Leeds’ training kit. Their branding will be visible around both Elland Road and Thorp Arch.

Leeds are likely to sign a lot of new sponsorship deals over the next couple of weeks - the gulf in sponsorship money between the Championship and Premier League is vast. The biggest of these deals involves the teams kits - Leeds have already agreed a deal with adidas to produce the kits, but we are yet to find out who will be the official kit sponsor.

Steve Parkin, Executive Chairman of Clipper Logistics said on the club’s website: “Clipper has been a main sponsor of Leeds United since 2016 and we have hosted corporate events in our club box since 1992.

“We are delighted to extend our relationship with the club as it regains its rightful status – as a Premier League outfit. The promotion to the Premier League is not just great news for the club and the fans, but also for Leeds as a city.

“A successful Premier League club makes an enormous difference to the local economy and Leeds has been missing that for many years. We are proud to remain sponsors of the club and look forward to a continued partnership as Leeds United plays to a truly global audience.

Paul Bell, Executive Director at Leeds United added: “Clipper have been a long standing sponsor and supporter of Leeds United during our time outside of the Premier League, and therefore we take great pride in the fact that their most high profile sponsorship with the club comes as we return back to the top flight.”
