Aberdeen FC have been linked with a loan move for young Leeds United striker Ryan Edmondson according to a report in Scotland based newspaper the Daily Record.

19-year-old Edmondson has trained with the first team but has not had many first team opportunities under Marcelo Bielsa. He has a great goalscoring record for the u23 side but he needs first team football if he is to develop into the player many think he can be.
Whether it is a move to Aberdeen, or somewhere else, I really think Edmondson needs a loan move this season.

Great instincts for the 2nd goal
Will he be given a chance to thrive in the 1st team next season? Is he ready? #LUFC pic.twitter.com/aOM5h9JWx6
Aberdeen’s main striker Sam Cosgrove is out for four months and Curtis Main is out for eight to ten weeks, meaning that there is a need for the Dons to sign a striker. The deal is likely to be shorter term Personally I think England u19 international Edmondson would do well in the SPL.
What do you think of Edmondson’s chances up in Scotland? Does he need a loan move regardless of where? Let us know in the comments below or on Twitter @ThruItAllLUFC.
