Meslier spent most of the season as backup to Kiko Casilla, but made an impressive debut in the FA Cup against Arsenal. He then came into the side against Hull City following Kiko Casilla’s eight-game suspension for racially abusing Jonathan Leko, and kept seven clean sheets in 10 Championship appearances.
Illan Meslier is Leeds second permanent signing of the summer, following fellow loan-to-buy deal Helder Costa’s move from Wolves.
