Leeds assistant Carlos Corberan appointed as Huddersfield head coach

The Whites’ first team and academy coach bids farewell to Elland Road having been at the club for 3 years.

Carlos Corberan’s move to Huddersfield Town has been confirmed by Leeds United. The Spaniard leaves the club after three years as the under-23s head coach, and two years as first team assistant coach.

The Spaniard played a crucial part in the club’s development of young players, particularly to adapt young players to the style of Marcelo Bielsa, to more easily bed them into the first team.

Following on from winning the league title this week, Corberan now looks to pastures new in making the step-up to head coach at Yorkshire rivals, Huddersfield Town. Following the reveal, Corberan wrote an open letter to the Leeds United faithful:
