A report in the Athletic states that Leeds United are in advanced talks to sign 16-year-old Jadan Raymond from Crystal Palace.
The 16-year-old became eligible to sign a scholarship contract in January but has not signed a new deal. He has let Palace know that he intends to leave when his contract expires on June 30th.

Raymond is also in advanced talks with Vitoria Guimaraes in Portugal. Guimaraes have previously signed England youth internationals Easah Suliman from West Ham, and Marcus Edwards from Tottenham Hotspur.
Raymond and his team were not happy with the chances of progression at the London club, but are said to be happier with the chances of progression at both Leeds and Guimaraes. It is expected that the financial terms available for Raymond at Leeds will be more attractive than those at Vitoria Guimaraes. It is expected that Leeds would try to get Raymond into the senior set-up within 18-months of him signing.

Raymond has previously represented both England and Wales at youth level - featuring alongside current Leeds United player Nohan Kenneh in the Syrenka Cup for England.
If Raymond joins Guimaraes, Palace will receive a smaller fee as it is a move abroad. If he joins Leeds the fee will be decided by a tribunal and could go as high as £1m.
