The report states that Championship clubs have agreed to rush the final nine games of the season through, playing on five Saturdays and four midweek slots. Finishing on July 18, then being followed by the playoffs. The EFL wants the season to be finished by July 31.
Hull City are believed to be the only team in the Championship against resuming the campaign.

If this was to happen, there is a good chance that the Championship could be up and running before the Premier League, with Premier League managers still hoping for a full months training before recommencing the season.
