Paul Wilson to play Elland Road Fanzone before Leeds play Reading on Saturday.

A Lifelong Leeds fan playing at Elland Road - it should be an excellent warm up for the match

If you are going to watch Leeds United v Reading FC on Saturday at Elland Road, it will be well worth your while to get down early and enjoy some excellent, Leeds United based music.

Singer/songwriter Paul Wilson (whose Marcelo Bielsa praising songs you may well have seen all over the internet) and Dom Bennison (who produced the aforementioned songs and is a tremendous musician, as well as being a very good friend of mine), will be playing a set at Elland Road before the match.

The duo will be playing the Fanzone at the North-East corner of Elland Road, with the gig starting at 1.30pm, 90 minutes before kick-off. I am sure there are plenty of people out there who get to the game early anyway, if you can - go support some fellow Leeds fans before the game. The more people are there, the better - and the beer can flow just as well there as anywhere else at Elland Road.

Paul and Dom are part of the Centenary Whites, and the full band will be playing a celebratory gig for the Leeds United centenary at The Leeds Irish Centre on Friday 20th March, with tickets available here - which I will almost certainly plug again closer to the time.

If you need any further persuasion - Leeds’ Northern Ireland international Stuart Dallas approves.
