✍️ #LUFC are pleased to announce Niall Huggins has signed a new contract until the summer of 2023

Huggins’ contract was due to expire at the end of this season, but following his impressive start to the season, mostly in a left-back role, he has been rewarded with a new deal.
It remains to be seen whether Huggins will continue to get plenty of football in Mark Jackson’s u23 side or whether Leeds will look to send Huggins out on loan. Marcelo Bielsa may want to keep him around as he was impressed enough to have him travelling with the first team squad for the 1-0 win against Everton.
Congratulations to @Niall_Huggins on travelling with the first team yesterday! A fantastic experience for the 19 year old who has been outstanding for #LUFC U23s this season pic.twitter.com/7tH9HTB4xj
