A combination of a poor performance and some really bad luck meant Leeds lost 4-1 to Crystal Palace.
Palace took the lead through what a Scott Dann header from a corner, although it may end up as a Robin Koch own goal. Leeds equalised through Patrick Bamford, but that was ruled out for offside after a ridiculous decision.
This is not offside. How many of these have to happen? #lufc #MOT pic.twitter.com/H7aEpCuaSe

Palace doubled the lead after an excellent Eberi Eze free-kick, before Bamford scored again - this time it counted. The bad luck continued as a Patrick Van Aanholt cross took a deflection off Helder Costa and went in at the near post.
The fourth Palace goal was dreadful defensively - Wilfried Zaha passing to jordan Ayew who was stood completely unmarked in front of goal despite having a fair few Leeds players around him.
Time now to look at each player and how they performed. As always you can tell me how wrong I am @mightywhitespod or @ThruItAllLUFC on twitter.
STARTING LINE-UP
Illan Meslier - Couple of solid early saves. No chance with the first two goals which went in off the bar. The third goal was a very unlucky deflection from a cross which caught him out - but you could argue he could have done better with it. To defend him, he will have his weight ready to go forward for the cross before the deflection happens. 5/10
Luke Ayling - Not as error strewn as others. Not as his best though. Tried to get forward when he could, but struggled whenever he was against Zaha or Van Aanholt. 6/10
Robin Koch - Beaten in the air by Scott Dann for the first Palace goal, although it then deflecting off his head was just unlucky. Poor tackle to give away the free-kick for Palace’s second goal. 5/10
Liam Cooper - Defense were all over the place at times and he has to take some of the responsibility for that as the most experienced centre-back and the captain. 5.5/10
Stuart Dallas - Lost the ball on too many occasions and struggled to make his usual level of impact. 5/10
Pascal Struijk - Passed the ball well enough but there were too many occasions when he got caught out of position and he wasn’t strong enough in the tackle. 5/10
Ezgjan Alioski - Some good touches but too often lacked quality on the ball. Not as strong defensively today either. 4.5/10
Mateusz Klich - Two excellent assists for Bamford goals in the opening 30 minutes, only one of them counted but they were both goals. Involved whenever Leeds did anything good in attack. Man of the match for Leeds. 7.5/10
Helder Costa - Very quiet, ridiculously unlucky with the own-goal, did well to block to cross if anything. 4.5/10
Jack Harrison - Hasn’t had one of these for a while. Poor throughout, even his usually excellent first touch let him down at times. 5/10
Patrick Bamford - Good finish to score his first goal, disallowed but it was not offside. The next one counted which was a great finish after bringing it down to the chest. Tried his best but not helped by a lot of those around him. 6/10
SUBSTITUTES
Raphinha (for Costa, HT) - Some good moments including going close with a long range free-kick. Good cross field passes. Usually too deep to be truly dangerous when he was on the ball. 5.5/10
Tyler Roberts (for Struijk, 71mins) - Didn’t do much, but the game was gone by that point to be fair to him. 5/10
