Leeds United are showing interest in Rennes winger Raphina, according to several sources. GOAL.com report that Leeds have made a bid for the 23-year old but without an exact figure, with the bid thought to be below the £18 million Rennes payed for him a year ago.
The 23-year old impressed last season in Ligue 1, scoring five and assisting three in 1693 minutes, 18 games worth of football from his 22 total appearances. On top of this, he scored two and assisted two from three appearances in the cup, bringing his direct goal involvement ratio to a goal/assist every 167 minutes.

This season the Brazilian has already assisted two goals from five appearances (3.5 games worth of minutes) and is attracting interest from elsewhere as Rennes look to raise funds from potential player sales.
After the broken-down deal for Bayern’s Michael Cuisance, Leeds will look to bring in at least one player if possible before the European deadline on Monday night. There is still time afterwards to sign players domestically, with Norwich’s Todd Cantwell also mentioned in the last week or so.
