Leeds United captain Liam Cooper and fellow centre-back Diego Llorente have returned to Thorp Arch from international duty having each picked up groin injuries.

Llorente’s injury is apparently the more serious of the two, with scans showing that the Spain international will be out for up to three weeks.
Cooper picked up a similar injury when away with Scotland, but he is expected to be back within two weeks. The club have stated he could yet make the Wolves game on Monday 19th October, but that would not be something I would expect to happen.

While there are other options, this news means a likely start for former Netherlands youth international Pascal Struijk alongside Robin Koch as we saw on the opening day against Liverpool. It is of the upmost importance that Koch gets through his spell away with Germany without any injuries.
