It seemed as though a deal for Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Cuisance was pretty much done, but Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa would not be drawn into talking about the Frenchman until a deal was official.

This suggested that there was still a deal breaker separating Leeds from their man, and now Sky Sports report that a deal for the 21-year old is now off.

Sky Sports Transfer Centre reported on 01/10/20 that the £20m has been called-off with Cuisance in Leeds to finalise the move.

It had originally been reported that the deal for Cuisance had broken down due to issues related to the buy-back clause, but The Athletic’s David Ornstein revealed that the 21-year old failed his medical on Wednesday showing injury problems that made the deal impossible.

Phil Hay and David Ornstein from The Athletic that a £20m deal had been agreed on Tuesday night, with the Frenchman’s medical due today, but now Leeds will have to look into different targets in the midfield, with Todd Cantwell previously mentioned.
