#LUFC are pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper Elia Caprile from Chievo Verona

Caprile is unlikely to have first team involvement this season, but he could well end up on the bench if first choice goalkeeper Kiko Casilla receives a ban for the racism allegation against his name from the Charlton match earlier this season.
Obviously, this is the least important of the signings Leeds need to make this January, with the need for a Striker looming large over anything else - then probably a winger/number 10 - and maybe another central midfielder. Caprile’s signing is something of a cheap punt but could work out well, we probably won’t know for 18 months.
