The right-back, who had been at Leeds United since 2004 and came through the academy, had three loan spells with the League One side - making over 100 appearances.
Lewie Coyle has agreed a permanent move to Fleetwood Town, @TheAthleticUK understands. Will sign a long-term deal later today. #lufc

Coyle made his debut for the Leeds 1st team in December 2015 as a late substitute in a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest and went on to make 23 appearances for the side, before his two-and-a-half years on loan at Fleetwood.
There had always been talk of Coyle getting a chance at Leeds, particularly given his form on loan, but with Luke Ayling and now Stuart Dallas firmly ahead of him getting a permanent move is the best thing for him.
There are unsubstantiated rumours going around that the fee is around £500k, Coyle only had six months left on his contract so that is probably as high as we can hope for.
Lewie Coyle off to Fleetwood then. 500k for a player with 6 months left on his deal
