After the disappointing news about the status of Pontus Jansson, Adam Pope also had a little bit of news about another player Leeds has pretty much let go far below market value.

Not only did Saiz force through a loan move to Spain and Getafe that failed to see Leeds get any sort of transfer fee, he was also was interviewed by Spanish police in regards to match fixing allegations against former teammates.

Saiz’s career has gone sideways a couple of times, he never really seemed to recover his swagger at Leeds after his spitting incident against Newport County followed by a six-game suspension in the 2017-18 season.

He’s looking for a new club, but quite obviously not in the plans of Marcelo Bielsa. He’ll probably end up at a team in the Segunda Division again.

On to the links.
