Leeds will now play Nottingham Forest on Saturday 10 August at 12.30 in the first match of the season at Elland Road. Sky had already announced that the opening fixture of the season, an away match against Bristol City at Ashton Gate, was set to be televised.
With the amount that Leeds get per televised match, perhaps by the end of the season the club can buy a new lawnmower to cut the grass. Well, as long as it’s not a fancy one.
