Leeds United are reportedly close to landing yet another young player in this transfer window. After snapping up a few teenagers over the past couple seasons, with the likes of Jordan Stevens, Ryan Edmundson, and Sam Dalby all joining the club, it looks like Leeds have once again dipped into the domestic transfer market for a new player.
Leeds United close to signing 18-year-old winger Liam McCarron from Carlisle United. One for the future but will command a six-figure fee. #lufc

Liam McCarron from Carlisle United is the latest teenager to be linked with a move to Leeds. The winger made 20 appearances last season for the first team, and while he only got one assist in that time, making appearances as a teenager for a first team anywhere is an accomplishment.
Like Phil Hay said, this transfer is going to be for the future, and it’s good to see Leeds build up the bench and the U23s to keep the pipeline to the first team humming right along.
