Yes, the Leeds match against Salford City will be shown on Sky Sports. The club put out a short statement on the official website:
Leeds United’s Carabao Cup first round tie with Salford City will be shown live by Sky Sports.
The fixture will take place at Moor Lane on Tuesday 13th August (7:45pm).
Ticket details for this match will be announced in due course.
Leeds being shown live on TV wouldn’t be that great of an issue if Leeds were actually paid a market rate for appearances, but the team isn’t. At least this way fans who won’t be able to make the journey over to Salford will be able to see the match.
