Leeds have confirmed ticket details about the York City preseason match at Bootham Crescent, but unless you’re a season ticket holder, you’re probably not gonna be able to go.

Per the club’s official website:

We can now confirm ticket details for our pre-season trip to York City at Bootham Crescent on Wednesday 10th July (7:00pm).

Tickets will be sold online and allocated in line with our away ticket policy, with 80% reserved for Season Ticket Holders and 20% for Members.

Ticket allocation: Approximately 2,150 (standing and seating tickets)

Sale dates:

10:30am Monday 24th June

Tickets will go on sale, online, to 2019/20 Season Ticket Holders on a first come, first served basis.

10:30am Friday 28th June

Tickets will go on sale, online, to 2019/20 Gold Members on a first come, first served basis.

2,150 tickets is a drop in the bucket for what Leeds sells at home, and even though this is an “away” match, Bootham Crescent is probably one of the closet football grounds to Leeds. For example, it’s even closer to Thorp Arch than Elland Road. There will be large demand for these tickets, so unless you’re on the ball or have nothing else better to do with your life, you’re gonna need luck to snag a ticket.
