Pontus Jansson looked as if he was as devastated as the fans at Elland Road after the loss to Derby County in the playoff semifinals.

Per the Yorkshire Evening Post, Jansson wrote on Instagram:

It shouldn’t end like that.

Still don’t understand it today how it all could end so quickly.

We gave all every single day and deserved more but sometimes you don’t get what you deserve.

I’m proud of my club, team-mates and fans that we never gave up.

Thanks for all support and all the efforts during the year.

Does this mean that Jansson is staying for another year at Elland Road? Who knows, and at this point he may not even know if he’s gonna stay. Either way, the Sweden international wears his heart on his sleeve and it showed.

On to the links.
