Stop if you’ve heard this before. Frank Lampard has a terrible memory when it involves Leeds United.
For the benefit of Frank Lampard, who claims never to have seen a linesman overrule a referee’s penalty decision before, here is a reminder of when Leeds had a penalty overturned (wrongly) by the linesman against, er, Frank Lampard’s Derby County earlier this season. https://t.co/XqjsVqq7sp— History of Leeds | James Rhodes (@rh0desy) May 12, 2019
Frank Lampard's stunning lack of self-awareness strikes again. Literally happened in the Leeds v Derby match at Elland Road this season.— Mighty Whites Pod (@mightywhitespod) May 12, 2019
Add to his bollocks re: "Spygate" when he played in Chelsea team which sent Villas-Boas to training grounds (we were on public ground). #lufc pic.twitter.com/xGm934SqQ5
Yes, that’s Leeds getting a penalty overruled by the linesman in the Leeds v Derby County game back in January. And yes, Frank Lampard had absolutely no memory of it after the playoff match between the two clubs at Pride Park.
It’s almost as if the whole thing is just complaining to try and get sympathy to overlook his terrible job as manager.
