Marcelo Bielsa said today that Kemar Roofe is fit and back in the first team for Saturday’s match against Birmingham City.
Roofe might start on the bench, as he’s still recovering from an injury and without a U23 match to build fitness, he might need some time to get back to full fitness, but once he’s set, should he get the start up top with Tyler Roberts playing behind him?
No Under-23s game for Leeds this week so Roofe is straight back into the first-team squad:https://t.co/clKv3lPvzd

Bielsa backed Bamford to come back strong after a rather poor match against Millwall that included a penalty miss, but is he necessarily a shoe-in to start the rest of the way instead of Roofe and Roberts? Bamford has a height advantage, but Roofe is better at finishing and in the box. Bielsa has played Roofe and Bamford together before, so it will be interesting to see just how the boss deals with more than one striker fit at a time.
